Srilanka, won the toss & elected to bat first.
Pakistan won by 8 wickets, 4.1 overs remained.
Pakistan 1-0 ahead with 2 more games to play.
Salman Butt was the "Man of the match".
Nadeem Gauri (Pakistan) & Nigel Long (England) were the umpire.
The ODIs played on January 20, 21 and 24 at Karachi and Lahore.
The first ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on 20th January 2009 at National Stadium, Karachi.
The National stadium of Karachi was full in the 1st ODI and there was highest security alert at that particular day. the match started at the right time. crowed fully enjoyed the match. I was in video room with my team to control digital video screen during the match. it was an exciting match between both the teams.
The weather was cloudy but fortunatly it was'nt raining. Exciting match. we manage whole match perfectly in video room with lots of massaging, showing numeric section graphics, Runs, Outs, Out of parks, Nice fieldings, Nice shots, Free Hits, wagon wheels, maiden overs etc. |
